ABOUT THE LECTURE 

H.G. Masters, Editor-At-Large for ArtAsiaPacific Magazine, tackles art criticism and the role of writing in contemporary art practice. Following this lecture will be an open forum to be moderated by Ateneo Art Awards 2014 Purita-Kalaw Ledesma Prize for Art Writing Winner and Ateneo Fine Arts Creative Writing Faculty, Carlomar Daoana. 

ABOUT THE SPEAKER 

H.G. Masters is a writer and editor-at-large for ArtAsiaPacific Magazine. He was previously managing editor of AAP and editor of the 2010 ArtAsiaPacific Almanac. He is a regular contributor of news stories and reviews across Asia and writes feature-length articles on Asian artists.
