The Ateneo Art Gallery, with its partner institutions, continues to give recognition to contemporary artists and art writers through the annual Ateneo Art Awards (AAA). The Ateneo Art Gallery is hosting KIDLAT REVISITED: Public Screenings of Kidlat Tahimik Films at the Ben Chan ArtSuite until June. While at the museum, visitors are also invited to take a closer look at Kidlat's Art Fair Philippines 2018 installation,  "WW3 - The Protracted Kultur War," now on view at Areté's Unionbank Plaza. Ateneo Art Awards Purita Kalaw-Ledesma Prize for Art Criticism 2017 winner Arianna Mercado was recently awarded the Cultural Journalism Campus (CJC) Fellowship to be held in Hong Kong this March 2018. Mercado is one out of 10 fellows selected to cover Art Basel Hong Kong and other cultural events in March, as part of their intensive training in cultural journalism and art criticism. As a fellow, Mercado will also receive media training in producing CJC newspaper Culture Express, to be distributed at Art Basel and through the digital platform.
